D4NN7 BL★CK

D4NN7 BL★CK is a Chicago-born-and-raised artist whose story is rooted in real culture. At 23, he carries a strong sense of identity, pride, and purpose. Coming from a Mexican background and growing up around Kuumba Lynx, one of Chicago’s biggest hip-hop arts organizations founded by his family, he was exposed early to dance, poetry, and self-expression.

That environment naturally pushed D4NN7 BL★CK toward rap. Along with that foundation, influences like 2016 Forest Hills Drive, middle school heartbreak, and a rough childhood helped shape his voice. He also looks back at key moments like opening a show at Avondale Music Hall under a different alias, shouting out SPKRBX as part of his journey.

D4NN7 BL★CK speaks with the kind of belief that cannot be taught. He sees himself becoming one of the greatest artists ever, a vision he says he has carried since he was young. At the same time, his biggest struggle has been keeping faith in humanity after going through so much so early in life. That tension between pain and purpose is what gives his story weight.
