Chris Classick
Chris Classick, a 37-year-old creative from Chicago, has built his name around dedication to craft and community. His biggest accomplishment to date is starting Classick Studios — a space that has grown from a home-based setup into a platform dedicated to empowering artists.
Music found Chris early. He started making beats at just 12 years old, inspired by the homies around him. As he got closer to more producers, he naturally stepped into engineering — offering to record their artists and quickly realizing how much he loved being behind the boards. That passion pushed him to study audio engineering formally, sharpening his skills and deepening his understanding of sound. From there, Classick Studios was born — built on both education and real-life experience.
Looking ahead five years, Chris sees himself continuing to build his platform with purpose. His focus is on uplifting Chicago artists and creating real opportunities for the next generation. For him, it’s bigger than studio sessions — it’s about infrastructure, mentorship, and giving creatives the resources they need to thrive in an evolving industry.
Like anyone building in music, Chris has faced challenges. The biggest has been finding consistency in an ever-changing industry. But instead of resisting change, he embraces it. As an engineer, he sees himself as a problem solver at heart. Every obstacle becomes a lesson, every shift an opportunity to grow — not just professionally, but personally. And through it all, his love for the craft remains constant.
