Daniel Proper-Yates

Daniel first started gaining attention with early releases like "Vacation" and "If I Die," eventually becoming associated with fellow Seattle rapper Lil Mosey's label, Certified Hitmakers (CTM). His sound sits somewhere between melodic rap and pop, with a laid-back delivery and an ability to switch between singing and rapping.

Coming out of a city that's produced artists like Lil Mosey and Macklemore, Daniel is another name worth getting familiar with.Daniel's earlier music has that late-2010s melodic rap feel. "Hop Out," released in February 2020, takes listeners back to the beginning of his catalog.

Since then, he's released records like "Hiccup," "Lord Help," and "Can't Imagine." There's a pop influence throughout his music, especially in the way he approaches melodies. If you're a fan of Justin Bieber's earlier work or Lil Mosey, Daniel is definitely an artist worth checking out.
