Marta Klein
Marta Klein, 20, was born in Estonia, and is now based in New York City. While studying music at NYU, she’s completed several projects, including an unreleased EP made with industry names like Charlie Coffeen, Graham Cruiser, and Dale Becker. Her music video for “Cuz I’m Bored” has also gained over 70K views on YouTube. Marta started songwriting at 13 as a way to channel her emotions and creativity.
Over time, she developed her craft and passion for production, eventually studying music professionally. Her sound continues to evolve as she finds new ways to express herself through experimentation. She draws inspiration from Nate Sib’s experimental production, Tate McRae’s catchy melodies, and Avril Lavigne’s early 2000s storytelling.
For songwriting, she admires the lyricism and structure of Ester Dean and Ryan Tedder. Marta’s biggest challenge has been gaining exposure and connecting with the right fanbase that resonates with her music. Looking ahead, she hopes to headline tours across U.S. cities and release her first full-length album, continuing to grow and refine her sound with each project.
