PØNZØ

Raised in the Naples, Florida, 29-year-old Cuban artist PØNZØ is carving out his own lane with music that’s raw, honest, and deeply personal. Born in Miami and shaped by his surroundings, PØNZØ didn’t always see himself as an artist — but sometimes, life has other plans. What started as a moment of desperation soon became a journey of self-discovery that now drives every lyric and beat he creates.

The Beginning of PØNZØ

“I’ve always been around music,” PØNZØ says. “But I never had the courage to get behind the mic until one day I was pushed into it — out of pure desperation. I never looked back.”

That leap of faith led him to BandLab, where his unique sound began to take shape — a mix of raw emotion, real experiences, and a vibe that connects with listeners on a personal level.

The Rise of “Tossin n Turnin”

Recently, PØNZØ dropped his newest single, “Tossin n Turnin,” now streaming on all major platforms. The track has already pulled in nearly 500 Spotify streams, a solid milestone for an independent artist doing it all himself. The single gives fans a taste of what’s to come with his upcoming album, Hope U Understand, a 7-track project set to release November 6th. The album even features one song completely in Spanish — a heartfelt nod to his Cuban roots.

The Power of Independence

What really makes PØNZØ stand out is how hands-on he is with every aspect of his craft. He records, mixes, and masters his own music, designs his own cover art, and even shoots and edits his own visuals. That independence keeps his creativity authentic — every sound, every frame, every feeling is 100% him.

“I’m doing everything on my own,” he says. “From the music to the visuals — it’s all me. I just want to reach people who might need my music the same way I needed it.”

What’s Next

Looking ahead, PØNZØ’s focus is on growth and connection — performing live, linking up with other driven independent artists, and expanding his audience one show at a time. His mission goes beyond chasing fame; it’s about making an impact.

“I’m new, but I’m hungry,” he says. “I want my sound to be something people can’t ignore — not for the fame, but for the ones who need something real.”
